These milestones represent steps we’ve taken to increase access to opportunities for diverse-led businesses. And we're just getting started.
Timeline
As we look to the future, we aim to help EQUIP members continue to grow in their construction knowledge, network with their peers, and see success winning contracts with Brasfield & Gorrie and beyond.
EQUIP evolved into an expansive program featuring introductory meetings, monthly newsletters, project outreach events, and an informative website as membership grew to 800 businesses.
EQUIP was re-launched as virtual bimonthly meetings to continue sharing information and networking safely amidst the height of the COVID-19 pandemic.
We created EQUIP, a forum dedicated to increasing minority construction firms’ access to our teams, best practices, and upcoming project opportunities. More than 120 companies around the Southeast were registered that first year.
